Transmission 5.29.2012 PODCAST 015
From the first time I heard Ulcerate, I realized that they were not a typical band. They were clearly operating within the death metal genre, but instead of catering to a certain style, it was more a case of using the language of death metal to express more diverse concepts. It may sound dramatic, but I feel like Ulcerate are the future of death metal.
When Tombs had the opportunity to play shows with them, we jumped at it.
Though it was only three dates, I feel that it was an honor to share the stage with them.
Jamie and I, in the wake of the theft of their gear, had a quick conversation before our show in Boston. I hope to see these guys on the road at some point soon.
