Transmission 8.5.2011 Trash American Style Mini Documentary

Malcolm in front of the original Trash American Style Storefront

Curro and I wrapped up shooting footage for the Trash American Style Mini-Documentary yesterday. We spent a hot, humid day up in Brookfield and New Milford, CT interviewing Malcolm Tent about the history of Trash American Style, Connecticut Hardcore, and the will to continue in the face of adversity. For those of you who aren’t familiar with Trash, it existed as a brick and motor record store for over two decades before Malcolm took it on the road as a sort of traveling conduit to underground culture.

Stay tuned.
